The success of a brand lies with its individual identity.
Since the 1990s, and due to a boom in companies merging or buying other companies up, global brands are on the increase.
With the purchase of a brand item, the buyer is not just buying an object they might need or want, but also a promise linked to the trademark, a promise of quality, image and other attributes pertaining to that logo.
Brand characteristics attempt to play on and appeal to consumers’ sympathies. Often successfully. From this develops enhanced awareness of a brand and thus brand loyalty on the part of the buyer.
Every company both is and manages their own brand, whether consciously, in the case of large corporations, or subconsciously, as with small firms. Their brand is one of the most valuable assets a company has.
The oversaturated consciousness and thus decrease in interest and attention-span of today’s consumer exacerbated by the over 60,000 brands in existence, has given rebranding an ever increasing importance. Existing trade-marks are either replaced, reworked or modernised to bring them up to date, and then the brand re-launched on the market.
Rebranding projects
The first step following the decision to rebrand is often consultation regarding design, with either the generation of new design or the adoption of an existing design.
Budgeting for many projects may be tricky; due to the status of existing client advertising materials – logos often being missing. In such cases we often undertake the complete recreation of existing materials, working this into a draft budget.
Once we have a rough estimate of the available budget, we are able to offer specific technical advice regarding possible options, including approximate related time-plans. This phase culminates in a project quote, to allow clients the chance to evaluate costs externally.
Approval of the quote leads to the generation of a detailed time-plan and the allocation on our side of a project leader/client contact, followed by the execution of the work according to the time plan. When it comes to the obstacles of unforeseen circumstance, Pittoresk is proud of our track-record in working with our clients to find fast, flexible solutions.
Following the completion of the project we turn over related project documentation. In many cases our clients our clients have been kind enough to thank us for us problem-free execution of the work.
